The program assists in recognizing the invaluable efforts of volunteers who have made significant contributions to the game of golf in Canada. 

A minimum of one volunteer will be honoured each month during the golf season (May-October) with a recognition package.  From these recipients, the RCGA will select the most exceptional volunteer to receive the prestigious RCGA Volunteer of the Year Award of Excellence.  The Volunteer of the Year will be the special guest of the President at the RCGA Annual General Meeting banquet dinner and will receive recognition through the RCGA website and Golf Canada magazine.

The RCGA relies heavily on volunteers to assist with promoting and supporting our golf programs, services and events.  We would like to give you the opportunity to recognize someone in your community, club or province who has demonstrated a strong passion to grow the game through their endless efforts as a volunteer.
