Ada Mackenzie Matches

This is an annual two day senior women’s match play team event for Ontario vs. Upper New York State. The tournament is usually held in May each year and the teams alternate in hosting the event. Each team consists of ten senior women golfers. Team Ontario is comprised of the top ten eligible finishers from the prior year’s Investors Group Senior Women’s Amateur Championship. The format for this competition consists of two rounds. First day is an afternoon competition, Chapman format, and the second day is a morning Better Ball. These matches have been conducted since 1960 and Ontario holds a record of 32 wins, 14 losses and one tie (2008).
