RCGA Volunteer of the Year Award
The GAO Volunteer of the Year Recognition Program has been designed to recognize outstanding performance and
contributions by volunteers who have played an instrumental role in promoting the growth and development of
amateur golf throughout the Province of Ontario while preserving the integrity and traditions of the game.
Recognition goes a long way; this program will assist the association and districts in recruiting and
retaining an abundance of valued volunteers.
Recognition - The Award winner will receive a recognition package that will include the
following:
Individuals who are currently active members of the GAO and have been involved with the Golf Association in a volunteer capacity for more than 3 consecutive years. These individuals will have made a considerable contribution to amateur golf in Ontario through any of the various GAO initiatives (training programs, junior camps, player development, fundraising, working GAO Provincial and/ or District Events, etc…)
The GAO would like to hear about the individuals in our Province who have made a valuable contribution to golf in Ontario and deserve recognition for their efforts.
There shall be no more than one (1) GAO Volunteer of the Year elected annually.
