The RCGA have requested that each member club have at least one certified handicap official. The RCGA, along with the GAO, are attempting to reach this objective by conducting several Handicap seminars. These seminars are a more in-depth look into Handicapping and Course Rating and will give attendees a thorough knowledge of the RCGA Handicap and Course Rating system.
The GAO will be conducting a number of Handicap seminars in 2010, which are beneficial to Club members, Handicap Committee members, Golf Professionals, Superintendents, General Managers, and others interested in learning more about Handicapping in general.
These seminars run for approximately four hours and include an RCGA Handicap System Manual for each attendee and other relevant Handicap materials. Information will be presented in Power Point format focusing on the RCGA Handicap System Manual. Time will be allotted for open discussion and there will be a short break scheduled part way through the session.
Each attendee must pay the registration fee of $30 (to cover the room rental and food costs).
To attend one of our Handicap Certification seminars, please select a seminar most convenient for you to attend and return the completed registration form and payment (where applicable) by the deadline date.
