Wickware Wins Ontario Senior Ladies' Championship
Stouffville, ON: Sue Wickware of Pickering, Ontario parred the second extra hole to knock off Marlene Streit of Unionville and capture the Investors Group Ontario Ladies Senior Championship at the Spring Lakes Golf Club in Stouffville.

Streit, the defending champion and a World Golf Hall of Fame member, tied with Wickware at the end of the 54-hole competition at 12-over par 228. Both Streit and Wickware fired closing rounds of two-over par 74 to force the playoff.

Streit had a chance to send the extra action to another hole, but she missed a short four-foot putt to give Wickware the title.

Jackie Rosart, the leader heading into the final round, closed with a 76 to finish third at 229, a stroke out of the playoff.

Debbie Mcdonald of Claremont was fourth at 231 (77) and Carolyn Smith of Creemore ended up fifth at 232 (77).
