Parr Good Enough in Ontario Amateur

Toronto, ON:  Andrew Parr of London, Ontario fired the low round of the day to cruise to a four shot victory in the Investors Group Ontario Amateur Championship at the Donalda Club in Toronto.

Parr completed his wire-to-wire win with a final round of two-under par 68 for a 72-hole total of three-under par 277.  The 21-year old Texas A & M golf team member was one of only two golfers to break par during the last round.

Bill Seagris of Red Rock, Ontario finished in the runner-up position  at 281 after a final day score of two-over par 72.   Tying for third, and the final spots on Ontario's Interprovincial team in the Canadian Amateur, were Zach Faulds of Wardsville, Ontario and Bill Hutcheson of Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Rounding out the top five was Shawn LaFontaine of Cobourg, Ontario at 284.
